If Britain votes to leave the EU and successfully does so, do you think your country will have an EU membership referendum?

Would it immediately be called for, or would it take 5 or 10 years to be called once people see the results of Brexit on the UK?
>>
You're making a mistake. The EU is going through a rough patch, that's all. You Brits never change, once a quitter always a quitter.

The ECB issues promissory's which are tied to the value of assets. Remember when the EU raided 10% of Greek and Cypriot savers accounts? They pegged the value of the debt to land and house values.

In order to keep printing money as the ECB is, it had to accept Romania and Bulgaria in, two shit holes that no one fucking wanted in.

It will have to accept Turkey, Albania etc to keep the pyramid propped up.

It has no choice but to otherwise it will collapse via mutual indebtedness. The entire system is designed to drive nations toward being bailed out with conditioned aid.

It's called debt enslavement and the British empire did it to the 13 colonies in America.

Man, that was a struggle to get through. Oh, I quite agree, the EU will crumble in comparison to everywhere else, and inevitably have to keep expanding to keep afloat. However, I don't think that the people running the show will ever let it officially end; they'll grasp every last straw to keep their dream alive, even as it spells the inevitable end for it. They've missed their opportunity to let the EU dissolve relatively peacefully.

The youth of our country are in favour of being liberal and so wish to vote stay. I'm one of those youth but I wish to leave, because all logic implies leaving makes our country stronger, especially a decade from now.

Personally, no, at least not in Western Europe. We've been too comfortable for too long to risk our stable, happy family lives for any grand, abstract scheme that's realistically very detached from our daily experiences. Besides, we'll be the ones better placed to cope with any inevitable breakaway from the EU. No, the people I feel bad for are Eastern Europeans, and the people of soon-to-be EU nations who will be sold a false dream of prosperity. Those poor folks will be drawn into the EU, not because the EU is benevolent and has their best interests at heart, but because it needs these new countries in order for it to leverage their populations against mounting debt.

With regards to violent revolt, I don't think it will happen in great amounts any time soon. However, the longer this charade goes on and the more political decisions are distanced from the electorate in these nations, the higher the chance gets that the EU will eventually end with an unnecessary, violent conclusion, instead of the progressive, gentle one it sorely needs.

We are tied up forever, till the ship will sink or war will take place. Somehow people here still think an economic success is based on cheap outsourcing for foreign companies, assembly lines for foreign companies and foreign supermarkets all of which don't pay taxes in most cases. Nobody will be succesful with a plunger factory and an infinitely increasing debt, sorry.

Well I think it wouldn't damage the UK. Because it would firstly, give us our waters back, which would allow our fishing industry to boom. Trade with Europe wouldn't stop because they need us (as we've both admitted). And it allows us to globalize properly and trade with countries that have growing economies.

No it was not.
It was only sold to people as an economical union, it's totalitarian regime was probably planned from the start.
It didn't go corrupt, it started that way.

The EU is full of marxists and cultural marxists. Merkel importing millions of refugees is just the start. Once they dissolve the borders you're going to see some really fun population shifts - IE, complete and utter eradication of anglo-saxon, dane, and germanic blood. That is what they want.

I couldn't care less about some weird autistic Hitleresque fantasy of muh greater EU federal union. I don't want it. I don't want to eventually be drafted to fight norks because they threw a missile at turks, yes, that is what is coming, if you don't see that Turkey will join the EU soon, you haven't been paying attention.

There's hope for Denmark, they're actually pretty based. Norway is salvageable too and Finland could save themselves.

States are always controlled by their elites. In the West, now and then the population gets to nudge things in a direction of their choosing, but that's about it. In the future, EU parliament elections will allow us to nudge policy slightly, but as always the general direction will be decided higher up.

It would definitely drop because of tax markup that would allow other manufacturers and service providers to take place of UK. Your state can try subsidizing the tax but there is a price anyways. Items bought from EU would also increase in price. Generally a new trade agreement would have to be made to continue trade with fewest losses.

Tl;dr Politically unaffiliated master economists say we should get the hell out of Europe.

-UK & Europe will still be allies even if we leave.
-We need parliamentary sovereignty so we can govern our own affairs.
-Allows us to trade globally much more easily
-We can't influence global prices, but what we can and do do is produce high quality goods, and it would encourage us to be competitive.
-European trade agreements are irrelevant, we need to get out of a protectionist trade arrangement, namely the European Customs Union).
-The union would be beneficial to a country who sell a lot to the union, and buy little. But we're in the opposite situation, so it's damaging.
-We should abandon tariffs, because it would lower the internal prices for our consumers.
-About 9% of our GDP is exported to the EU. On that 9% we would comply with EU standards. The other 91% will be free of those regulations, and will operate with respect to how we as a country decide benefits our industries the most.
