I have heard it has become more competitive to get into but apparently its pretty nice if you're just working shifts for a hospital. If you're on call often, especially with OB, you will probably want to kill yourself. But yes, there's not a ton of patient interaction, you will see the patient conscious for only a few minutes before you drug them up. The only time I had surgery I only remember seeing the anesthesiologist for a minute or two and then I woke up in the recovery room.

You're right though, I doubt he even remembers most of what he was taught in medical school, but he did a fellowship under the president of both the hip and knee society and is one of the best joint replacement specialists in my area. First off through my research i learned psychiatry is extremely political. You have Pharm companies trying to buy you so you'll push their pills (even onto kids that don't need them) Fighting insurance companies to pay most of your salary, there are thing called RVU's that reward getting a ''patient'' in and out quickly, basically a type of commission. Then there is medical associations, rules of conduct, other doctors, and especially the patients you have to play with(not getting into all of them)
The problem with our society is mainly the diehard liberals in media/academia/entertainment/(somewhat social media)
lets break it down.
1. The MSM trust is in the toilet and as the boomers who can't work phones/pcs die they will lose control, and fade especially people getting alt media , and news on their social media timelines.
2 Academia is more of a problem. Liberals tend to be more outgoing and expressive while conservatives tend to be more introverted and logical. thus Libs have more need for human contact and will chose teaching jobs to fulfill themselves. The smart Conservatives will get more money in other fields and are usually turned off to the type of job teaching is.
On a large scale I believe raising wages would attract conservatives to Academia. Thats the only thing i can think of on a large scale.
As for a small scale Id encourage /pol/acks to become high school history teachers (if we do want to influence the impressionable minds of teenagers)

Kids want to fit in; kids have to fit in, fuck adults have to fit in we are social creatures. women moreso since they evolved to make sure their offspring are safe and can acquire resources.
This makes for great hive minds, conformists, and fear of being outcasted. However people tend to take on the opinions of the most influential people around them as their own.
So i have several solutions to this.

get the top people of these categories on your side IRL and their opinions will have more weight.
2 Hiveminding
The more people who agree to a stance/ideology/opinion the more the average person tends to perceive it to be the right one, get the most intelligent/logical on your side first, then get them to help you get the leaders of the above categories to side with you, then more on to normals, and finally use sheer numbers to get more on your side.
