It's impossible to not know that staying in a below zero environment without protection/preparation can be dangerous. The roads freeze over, the young and elderly become at risk, a countless number of things may become inoperable due to being exposed to sub zero temperatures.
Celcius is a far more relevant and clearly defined scale.
