Donald Trump is a candidate without a campaign – and it’s becoming a serious problem.

Republicans working to elect Trump describe a bare-bones effort debilitated by infighting, a lack of staff to carry out basic functions, minimal coordination with allies and a message that’s prisoner to Trump’s momentary whims.

“Bottom line, you can hire all the top people in the world, but to what end? Trump does what he wants,” a source close to the campaign said.

In reporting on Trump’s operation, NBC News talked to three Trump aides and two sources working closely alongside the campaign, all of whom requested anonymity in order speak freely.

Veteran operatives are shocked by the campaign’s failure to fill key roles. There is no communications team to deal with the hundreds of media outlets covering the race, no rapid response director to quickly rebut attacks and launch new ones, and a limited cast of surrogates who lack a cohesive message.

“They don’t or can’t cover it all, and there are things that happen that need to be addressed immediately and don’t get addressed at all, and that hurts the candidate,” a source within the campaign groused last month.

Of course he doesn't. He just strings words together in the hopes of triggering his opposition and getting his supporters to blindly follow him.
He doesn't actually say anything when he speaks.
He certainly doesn't offer plans on how exactly he'll even do the things he claims he'll do.

Of course he has a campaign.

More than that , Trump has a movement. A movement of the best people in America.

The Sunday news shows and on-line news sites tell a lot. So many so-called republicans are barely concealing their glee that the evil in San Jose happened to Trump supporters.

Add that to Democrats actually blaming Trump for the mob that attacked him and we are seeing people's true colors this election.

See video below.

RAMZPAUL plays the game of Reverse the Races, below. What if the woman who got assaulted with eggs were black?

What if the terrorists were white and the people attacked were black?

Prison for all. 30 years at least.

But the attackers were brown, waving a Mexican flag.

So the San Jose leadership blames (wait for it) the TRUMP supporters and Trump himself for having political views that the terrorists didn't like.

What the FUCK, America?

What happened?

It will only get worse unless we get Trump elected and the illegals deported the hell out of here.

Build the wall, Mr. Trump.

Please build that wall.

>How's the mood in America?
We're at pretty much the same point Obama-Romney was in 2012, except the other way around. Romney was predicted to win at this point in time with polls, as Hillary is now (by about 5%). Basically it all comes down to the Presidential debates, if Hillary doesn't wuss out and actually debates Donald she'll probably be destroyed (why she was trying to provoke Trump to debate Bernie, which would have made him ineligible for any presidential debate).

I fucking hate Obama but Trump is gonna have a very similar path to victory, if he does win.

"Unfavorable" polls are just a thing that consultant wonk types like Nate Silver masturbate over. They have little validity for predicting future voter behavior in general. But this election cycle has completely stumped analysts.

Trust in media is now at 6%. To put it in perspective, trust in Congress is around 8%. Yet the media tells us every day how Trump is losing, he's Hitler, etc. The latest Reuters poll, ie: the one that put Hillary ahead by 11, sampled more Democrats than Republicans and Independents combined. Independents also went 80% to Trump.

What do you think is happening? Because from where I'm sitting, it's going to be a Trump landslide victory that a media is desperately trying to cover up.

Hillary hasn't been asked legitimate questions in 7 months, nobody has asked about her emails, Benghazi, any of her YUUGE kickbacks from foreign governments. At this point she looks and speaks like she's on Xanax 24/7.

This whole Trump campaign is like a Hail Mary pass.

Trump is a blank canvas on which we have each projected our hopes, dreams, fears, and love. We have projected our own idiosyncratic version of the type of leader that America needs.

In this way, by being a blank screen, any time we look at Trump we see the candidate that we want to see.

Hard core Trumpfags remind me of the Obamazombies during Obama's first campaign.
People seeking a Messianic figure.

I voted for Trump in the primary and will vote for him in the general.

He, is whatever an individual wants him to be while campaigning, throwing red meat to the base wherever he goes.

Who will the real President Trump be? Who knows? For most of his life he was Conservative for a New Yorker which means Liberal to the rest of the country. He comes from one of the most cosmopolitan cities on earth and suddenly is a hyper nationalist.

For me this vote is a Hail Mary pass. I certainly hope that Trump is what he says he is, but I don't believe it for a minute.

Trump doesn't want a big campaign. His whole theme is that fewer resources, better results. Trump has a staff of ~80 people, and was able to secure the GOP nom by mid May, running against 16 people. Clinton will secure her nomination Tuesday, against one guy, with a staff of ~800. Trump asks: who would be better running our non-solvent country?

This is unfortunately, at least partially, true.
Trump is too much of a control freak to be able to listen to suggestions and I'm not sure he has a competent or extraordinary campaign manager or speech writer.
A great speech writer and PR person will do wonders for Trump.
At this point he has a sound message. He already has the support of the people.
It is now time for Trump to clean up his image, clean up his speeches and lock in his responses during interviews.
He does need to be more like a "politician" with his responses. Settle down and deliver a cool and concise reply without offending as many people as he can while leaving his panties unbunched.
He gets hit with the dumb questions so many times that he ends up getting flustered and blasts a bad response.
Dude needs to relax and take care of business when the cameras are on.

Based on election cycle and primary data, it is almost statistically inevitable that Trump will win the majority of the electoral college and become the 43rd President of the United States.

This statistical model is able to use these data entities to accurately forecast the outcome of the presidential election with startling accuracy.

There is some truth to that -- during the Primary elections, most professional political consultants were not going to sign up with Trump, believing he was a meme-candidate who was destined to lose, and that being associated with him would hurt their future careers.

That turns out to have been mistake --I would expect it to b a LOT easier for Trump to hire competent experienced political staff now, unless he turns out to be unwilling to do so.

I agree, but it MIGHT indicate a level of commitment among Trump supporters higher than we've seen for other candidates in the past. That would be useful to him, if he does not build a stronger campaign organization, since he'll need to do less work turning out his vote.

It is probably also worth noting that in addition to having the most votes in a GOP primary ever he also has the most votes AGAINST him in a GOP primary ever.

Yopu guys seem to be comparing different numbers there.

The number of Hispanics that vote for Trump in a GOP Primary does not necessarily reflect his support among the Hispanics in the electorate at large. It is likely that GOP registered Hispanics are not exactly like the majority who are not registered in the GOP.

It all comes down to the TV buys, and the GOTV efforts, same as always, unless Trump decides to forgo either.both of those and run a social-media/free-media campaign, which would be a disaster for anybody else but that HE might be able to pull of.

Clinton is a terrible campaigner and seems to have assembled a poor team, again. Trump is a wild-card making up new rules as he goes. I, frankly, dislike both, but at least the election should be interesting and unpredictable.

>They have little validity for predicting future voter behavior in general.

Polls in general have little predictive power, they are a snapshot of where things stand at the time, and, read correctly, a guidebook on how to get from today to where you want to be on election day.

>So he just needs volunteers.

You ever volunteered for a campaign? If some, have you ever volunteered for a campaign that was poorly organized so that, when you showed up to do some work, nobody knew what the fuck they were supposed to have you doing? Or they had you doing some time-wasting shit that didn't do much actual good for the camping?

Trump needs competent staff to take care of shit like that, or this (and other) potential resources for the campaign will be wasted.

Trump is well aware that this country is divided nearly 50/50. It's essentially the producers vs the free loaders.

He knows the free loaders will never vote for him. They don't want to work, they don't care about anything but government handouts. He also knows the producers will never vote for Hillary, so they'll vote for him whether they like him or not.

Since it's not exactly 50/50, there are people on the fence from both sides. There are free loaders who want to work and there are producers who want Hillary.

All Trump has to do is get enough of these people who are on the fence to come over to his side.

I think it will be quite an easy thing to do. Especially considering Hillary is a massively flawed candidate.

I truly believe that Trump will easily win this election. I think Trump knows it, too.

It's not complete shill or troll. It's got a fair point. if you are denying even that then you are as bad as libkeks and feminist cucks who refuse to hear anything outside of their own ideologies.

I want him to win, but it's not going to happen folks. He carries too much baggage. Even if Bernie would decide to run as an independent, Trump would still have a hard time to win this thing.

And how the fuck would you know?

Don't you have some suicide bombs to detonate, Ahmad?

>Republicans working to elect Trump describe a bare-bones effort debilitated by infighting, a lack of staff to carry out basic functions, minimal coordination with allies and a message that’s prisoner to Trump’s momentary whims.
But he's proving you can win an election without the bullshit and money spending that usual campaigns use. He's a media mastermind.

General trends. Trump is still behind Clinton. Once Bernie's out, her numbers would go up. A record number of Latinos are going to show up to vote against him too. The only way he can win is to convince normies, independents, etc. that he's not literally Hitler, but stuff like Trump University pretty much confirms that he really is a money-grubbing jackass.

>Because, if you feed them, they will spread your story for you.
lol, they do that for Trump anyway. All they do is talk about Trump. What did Trump do? What did he not do? What did other people say about Trump? And on and on.

>Whaaa- we can't control him the way we usually puppet people
Ahahahaha. Morons. He won the primary not by some technical trickery and reaction to minute changes in projections, but by single-handedly crushing his opponents in the media. He ran his corporation this way, and he's had decades of experience in dealing with the press.

Trump doesn't need a press team, Trump - is - the press team.

>niggers and spics hate him
>somehow this means he's a bad candidate
Wouldn't you think that the candidate who is most hated by the absolute worst people in society be the best candidate?

>he's had decades of experience in dealing with the press.
It's deeper than that. He's embraced new media like social media too. Hillary can't use a smart phone, sure as shit didn't install her own server but Donald has always stayed above water when it comes to tech. He used it to promote his show.

While it was a low point, technically, he really "bloomed" after his stupid Obama birther "investigation". While it was pointless and shit-for-brains to pursue it, I'll never forget how he made a sitting President hand over his birth certificate to the media and the world.

That was a true show of his new power and he fucking killed the entire Republican party with it to win the nomination.
