I live nearby Glasgow.
I think us, Wales, and Ireland are the sort of bro-tier club of Britain. Northern England can get an honorary spot, maybe.
At the same time the general population seems to have a ridiculously low IQ. Everyone just lives around alcohol culture, and you could never get into a philosophical or political discussion with the average bloke. Anxiety and depression are also becoming epidemic in the young Scottish population, with suicide among White Scottish men under 30 at one of the highest rates in the world.
All in all, it's a shitehole, the SNP are shite, but our Northern lands / the Highlands must have some of the most stunning scenery in the world as well as a lot of awesome and generally uncucked people. Just a shame Southern & Central Scotland are a shitehole.

Am Scottish and still live there. We have the bizarre situation where our political class/parliament is comfortably the most far-left and cucked in the UK (though Wales runs us close) but the population in general is more culturally and religiously conservative than most of UK. The big difference is that Scotland and the rest of the UK are ruled by people who live on the same island voted in who mainly speak the same language, while as part of the EU we're ruled by unelected people living on a different landmass across the sea who who speak a different languages and use a different currency.
