I have studied electric engineering for a little over 30 years. I actually have a masters degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Oxford University. There's always been a lot of debate in the engineering community over which plug adapter is the most effective and most safe. Interestingly enough, I actually wrote a paper on this exact subject after some very intense research. It's a little sad but I guess you could say that my research on plug adapters is pretty much my life's work Anyway, I went into the project with an open mind and what I found was truly fascinating. I was able to conclude that the Falklands are in fact rightful British territory and that OP is a giant faggot. God Save the Queen.

It's nearly impossible to do anything with a UK plug unless you explicitly want to actually cause yourself harm. That's part of the reason why our plug was designed as it was. US plug is fucking nigger-tier. I'd advise them to switch to a better plug type but changing all of the plugs in a country, nevermind one the size of the US, is beyond autistic. Maybe force all appliances to come with one of the 3-prong plugs that includes an earth connection? idk.
