Florida is where the Boomers all want to retire. It has some beautiful beaches but MOST of them are muddier and uglier than they are in pictures.
Florida is hot and muggy like the rest of the Deep South. The only thing that makes it better is the beaches, which are overrated. Hurricanes put your power out way too fucking often. It's full of expensive tourist traps, the neighborhoods are shitty and the people are distant since they're mostly middle class boomers who think they're too good for anyone else.
