Besides, re-watch it and tell me it's a good film. The scenes concerning Satan or demons seemed shoehorned in and made no sense. It absolutely ruined the scene with thieves at the cross. Why the hell did a demonic crow poke the unsaved thief's eyes out? Why was that necessary? Why would a demon basically fly up and poke him in the face WRONG CHOICE NIGGER while he was still alive, are the demons trying to say that Jesus was right so effectively the demons are trying to save the second thief too? If it was God trying to save the second thief, that makes it fairly heretical. Was it just supposed to be a scene where we see someone get comeuppance? I don't recognize that form of Christianity as legitimate man.
It is just one of those films that try really hard and do some baffling things that turn what could have been a great film into something embarrassing and possibly heretical upon interpretation, and at it's most innocuous interpretation it still doesn't make much sense outside of when the story lines up from the biblical narrative.

I don't care about marketing or anything, so I liked the ending Drake got. Given the type of story it was an the upbeat note they always end on, it was a nice ending. The game was only "bland" because there was no super natural stuff. I still enjoyed husband and wife adventures because their interactions were actually well done. When they fell off the cliff and she pretended to die, I noticed her stop moving, and it actually had me freaking out for a second. Flashback missions were kind of lame, but holy shit that mansion was pretty. I really liked the characters and the rest of the areas, and the mechanics they added actually were integrated well and helped gameplay as opposed to being annoying gimmicks. Add in things like Crash Bandicoot and the TECHNOLOGY running on the PS4's hardware, and overall I'd rank it right up there with 2. Eh, that kind of seems to be stretching it a bit. All the other games weren't subtle about it. The supernatural existed in some manner which was an active obstacle to the player. this one had nothing.It seemed like they were working towards hints at the Supernatural when Nathan and Sam talked about how it seemed weird that nobody ever found the island or clues on the archipelago but then it got dropped.
