I know almost nothing about Mexican geography, but I thought Baja California/Baja California Sur were relatively safe? Not "you may die if you come here" tier. I thought the most dangerous areas were along the border of Texas.
Anyway, some nit-picky things:
If you're going to have a color for "French-America" you should have it include (far) northern Maine as well. Many of the towns up there speak French and English interchangeably.
South Dakota as "Lower Canada" doesn't make much sense. Should be border states only.
Wyoming isn't really known for Mormons, or inhabitants in general.
"Emptyness" is spelled wrong.
