Guys I just called my cousin in Romania after I saw this thread,, it is morning there, just after 9am, for the past hour the major news channels have been down and there is a power outage that appears to be affecting the majority of the eastern states of Romania from Constanta all the way up to Iasi.
He lives in Sibiu which is on West side and he said in his city emergency sirens have been going since early morning, lot of movement by police, some politicians convey heading west and many ambulance and firetrucks heading east out of city.
He said many church bells ringing throughout the city and lots of people are in church praying right now, has a very tangible panic in the air, lot of people stuck in traffic as many roads blocked by police as large convoy of government cars heading west towards another big city Oradea
