Marriage is supposed to provide the most stable environment possible for raising children properly. That means one mother and one father, no adultery, no divorce. Any other variation fucks children up for life. Hell it's hard enough to raise a child properly in a normal family.

Although it's quite clear you believe a diety is necessary, we could remove it for now for simple morals and a reason behind such morals. The son obeys his elder, since they tend to know how things work and serve as a guide. The state can also teach via punishment for breaking rules.

I see not why God is required beyond culling those with fear of divine wrath and rewarding acceptable behavior with a reward that can't be proven to exist or be connected. If their is no family unit, then that society is already dying out and the state has collapsed. Anarchy takes over until a new state is set up or nothing is left in that area.

Well, I'll once again disagree with the God bit, for simply my own disbelief and nothing more. If you destroy the family there's a shrinking number of people serving the nation, hence the nation slowly shrivels up and dies. That's logically sound and agreeable.

I'm not sure how to respond since I've not really kept tabs on the EU and their dealings beyond what I've seen on here. Though I have no issue with the EU collapsing and falling to anarchy, simply because I support pure anarchy. It would serve as a reset for their governing systems and possibly be a step up afterwards. Maybe a nation such as you described shall be formed. Than we could witness it first hand instead of just from history.
