You're half right. I don't give a shit if people want to delude themselves into thinking having a penis doesn't make them a male. The problem is that they DO want their mental illness to change the way I speak/act. So being forced to play along with their mental delusions does affect me.
Gay people generally don't affect me. I don't have to change my grammar in their presence. I also don't have to give a shit about someone pretending to be gay. It doesn't afford them any more privileges than I have.
Transgender politics do affect me. I shouldn't be required by law to pretend feminine penises exist, or that a gaping wound where a cock and balls used to be somehow becomes a vagina, or that XX and XY don't mean someone is a female or male. I do find it concerning that someone can go ahead and pretend to be a tranny and be given the right to enter any bathroom or changeroom they feel like going into. Pretending to be gay doesn't really come with any perverted privileges, but pretending to be a tranny would, if questioning somebody's "gender identity" is illegal.
