If the west goes all out in the middle east, Saudi Arabia will reveal their hand and we'll be at war with them. More likely, we'll keep proxy warring and funding dissident/dissent in each country. Reminder, most people smugglers are (unofficially) funded by Saudis. Their idea is to flood western countries with immigrants to weaken them expecting welfare states to bankrupt themselves to provide for them. Most Arab countries have a different approach, research UAE and its migrant workers population.
FYI Russia is harmless but simply want you to think otherwise. Turk roaches are just roaches, most Slavic nations hate them but not enough for war, just enough to glare at each other from across the black sea. No war there, it's not like they're actively trying to dismantle each other's governments.
