Should education be free or not?
Since 2015, here in the Netherlands they implemented a system where you have to pay back any loan you got for studying (incl interest). Before this, you could essentially get a bachelor for free if you finished it within 10 years.
What are your thoughts on this? Should edumacation be free for everytone, or should students be saddled with a few 10k's of debt?

A tuition at all makes those enrolling actually want to complete the course in general.
You have a course and 100 paying people want in, great. You have a course and 5000 want in because it's free for them and you have an issue.

With that said though people need to not be retarded and instead do what they can afford. I took a trades course where I didn't need a loan at all from simply saving up some money and I make bank now.
I am sad for and laugh at the same time to those who get tens of thousands in debt because they're too stupid to live within their means.

Yes to an extent. Science, Math, Health, Engineering, and ect should all be free. They benefit society. Now programs like womans studies should either not exist or you should have to pay to take that dumb shit.
Also Jobs should go back to training on job. The fact that they dont and pushed it off on colleges is what set us down this path anyway.

It literally cannot be free for ANYONE. There are costs associated with providing any service, education in particular, and they must be met by somebody.
The question is, who should have to pay.
I'm pretty comfortable with "the consumer that wants the service pays for it," but there are other opinions that revolve around "gibs me dats."

Education should not be free, but the costs should be much lower. There needs to be some way to make sure that education dollars are spent on EDUCATION, not hiring no work celebrity professors and administrators. The cost needs to be cut roughly in half. Instead of students having an average debt of $37,000...reduce the average cost from $50,000 down to about $40,000. Over 4 years, this comes out to $40,000 less. Which would pretty much eliminate the need for student loans. We need to get rid of the practice of colleges becoming nothing more than spreaders of liberal and expensive social policies by paying insane liberals huge salaries to do nothing more than spread the poison of the liberal creed. Kids are being broken into subservient lackeys of the professors, not the bankers. Cut the costs. The need for the loans will disappear. The only clever thing the liberals have done is to convince that they were exploited by the bankers. When the true culprits were the professors and administrators.

College has been professed as the solution for everyone. It's not. Like the leaf said, there are too many meme degrees, and when the snowflakes default on their loans because they can't get a job, someone is going to have to foot the bill. Education is not a right. It is not given, it is earned.

I am not canadian, so I don't really understand what you are saying, but it sounds to me you got some free education.
I think that there should be an equal trade off. For every year of military or civil service you would get one year of college. So even though it wouldn't cost money, it would cost time and dedication. If you don't want to wear a uniform and carry a gun then you can dig ditches, fix roads, or pick up trash.
