SOME BRIEF THOUGHTS ON POLITICAL VIOLENCE

>Intentional property damage may be considered a form of violence, albeit one usually (but not always) less reprehensible than violence which does bodily harm to other living beings.
We see hundreds, thousands of minor incidents like the Trump protestor violence and it is all building up over time. But the historians aren't going to note stuff like this. There is a lot that is happening that in the future we won't know about because it is little things that people experienced in their everyday lives that won't get recorded. What if we compiled data and information and organize it all in an accessible database containing all the footage and documents of these incidents? For the sake of the complete, empirical Truth, we must take up this heavy burden.

>Property Destruction is Not Violence
He's right, faggots. Violence is damage plus sentience.
Vox suspends editor over 'riot' tweet
http://www.politico.com/media/story/2016/06/vox-suspends-editor-over-riot-tweet-004575
Vox Media suspended Emmett Rensin, deputy editor of Vox.com's first person section, on Thursday in response to a tweet that Rensin sent last night that could be considered an endorsement of violence against Donald Trump supporters.
"We at Vox do not take institutional positions on most questions, and we encourage our writers to debate and disagree. But direct encouragement of riots crosses a line between expressing a contrary opinion and directly encouraging dangerous, illegal activity," Vox.com editor in chief Ezra Klein said in a statement announcing Rensin's suspension.
It isn't clear how long Rensin's suspension will last. "We do not comment on the specifics of individual personnel matters beyond what was said in Ezra's statement," a spokesperson told POLITICO.
Suppose this would be a good time to re-up this clarification of my views on violence:

"stophillary" wireless ID is literally violence but riots are okay.
It was just a prank, bro.

Why does vox think they can incite riots against our lord and get away with it?
>>75997060
Rush was talking about it today.
Vox is fucked.

>But direct encouragement of riots crosses a line between expressing a contrary opinion and directly encouraging dangerous, illegal activity
I guess those people reporting this tweet to the authorities made a difference.
>It isn't clear how long Rensin's suspension will last.
Haha I guess not. Just another jewish scheme to avoid the punishment they claim others should face.

believes it's "gaslighting"
Good.
We need more violence at the rallies. Nothing turns people against a cause more than unprovoked violence.
They are only making the movement stronger

Why would anyone on the american left think violence could possibly go well for them? Who do they think owns guns in america? Which population has agency?
>>75997359
This is pretty important point desu

They have forgotten the lessons of the Civil rights movement. Acting like a bunch of violent niggers is a great way to destroy the mainstream appeal of any ideology in America. We don't respond well to political violence here.

Reported the fucker. Thanks for the heads up, famalam

The civil rights movement greatly benefited by the limits of the media of the time. It wasn't like today where we can see dindus riot in real time or easy collect information about which groups commit crime.
The rosa park hoax and the detroit riots come immediately to mind.

He's already been suspended.

Isn't inciting riot a 'hate crime' in USA?
