>Three years ago, I was fed up with the European Union. The policies emerging from Brussels were frustrating in their own right and seemed to be taking us inexorably towards an ever closer union. I knew that the British people did not want that, and nor did I. People who set out to negotiate with Brussels were at their wits’ end. Brussels suffered from a democratic deficit and the EU was the source of unconstrained migration.

>So, in 2013, I signed the launch letter for Business for Britain, hoping to campaign for real change in the EU. I did not expect this transformation to be quick. But I wanted all the issues on the table.

>So I was unhappy when, after the Prime Minister’s renegotiation earlier this year, Business for Britain changed into Vote Leave. The fundamental change we demanded was never going to occur before the promised referendum date. Embracing an impossible deadline turned Business for Britain from a project to secure change from within into a campaign to get Britain out of Europe.

>And so I have turned, too: from an insistent EU reformer into a committed remainer.

>>

I'm voting remain.
>>
>>75953474

Change happened because guess what, are renegotiations are shit. We got Nothing. Further more, even the minute shit, which we presumably got, will be vetoed. We got NOTHING. NO change.

The EU will never change, that's why leave is so important.

how about you stay home and don't vote?
>>
>>75953695

Remember that even if the leave vote wins, the globalist agenda WILL try to bring the UK back to the EU. So if the leave vote wins, that's just the first triumph in the start of a potentially very long battle. Our enemy is INSANELY DETERMINED, but the good thing is that I am too. Brexit ought to happen because Brexit would encourage other EU countries to break away from the EU, which is a MAJOR, MAJOR setback to the globalist agenda which also wants an American Union that includes the United States. Brexit affects more than just the UK, trust me.
>>
>>75953774

Which is why Remain will win.

For as much as politicians like to rail against the status quo, and talk about "change" all the time, many people generally like the status quo.

When those undecided voters are forced to finally choose, pick between the status quo and an uncertain future, they're going to pick the devil they know.

>politicians like to rail against the status quo
Are you out of your mind? The only thing politicians and top businessmen are interested in is upholding status quo. That's why innovation gets suppressed, that's why Trump and Sanders have to fight an uphill battle every single day.
The rich and powerful already have everything they want, and they don't want anyone else joining them at the top, nor they want to lose their position.
They may talk about progress, but that's just bullshit to make the lower classes tolerate them for one more term.
>>
>>75953695
Let's be honest, the general quality of British diplomacy these past few years has been appalling. From throwing tantrums about the European flag waving during WWI celebrations to all that shitfest after the EU elections that turned Juncker, a grey run-of-the-mill European bureaucrat, into an "arch-federalist" rockstar lionised and defended even by his rivals.

The way I see it, the UK government has either been "sabotaging" their own diplomatic efforts for years in order to pave the road for Brexit or the UK diplomats are a bunch of retards with no fucking idea of what the hell they are doing anymore. And I can say that some EU politicians actually share this view.
>>
>>75954230
Can you please leave NATO too? It's proving very bothersome to us.
>>
>>75953983

True Brother. The Eu is an enemy of democracy, and should be washed away. But even more important than brexit, for the overall struggle, is France. If Marine Le Pen wins, the game is over for the Eu.

Brexit will be the stepping stone to a brighter future. But the real battle will be in France, and Germany to be against the Eu, and for Trump to lead the free world to nationalism.

The question whether to leave or stay is not so simple.
How I see it, it all comes down to how much do you trust your politicians and how much do you think you can influence them.

Are you sure you'r politicians wont just sign some "favorable" free-trade deals with selected countries and sell you of to multinationals by privatizing literally everything. Whole Brexit the movie was mostly whining about EU regulations that are there mainly to protect your rights, privacy, health and safety. Not to mention your politicians have been among the biggest supporters of TTIP which is questionable at best.

But then again they might be threatened like Germany is to sign the TTIP, the United States is basically saying that they'll make it harder for European car manufacturers to sell their cars in the United States. I am hoping the other politicians and member states will force Germany to drop the TTIP negotiations.

>>
>>75953474
That poster sums up what is wrong with this referendum. People shouldn't be voting to remain because of Boris and Farage, and they shouldn't be voting to leave because they dislike Cameron and Osborne.

This referendum is to big with long term impacts to be decided on the personalities of the moment. Half of these peoples' careers will be over in a few years anyway. The EU referendum result is for life.
>>
Most people who vote leave are aged fuckers, little Englanders, and alt right fags too confident that this country is good on its own. Still, I hope we leave EU and let EU prosper on its own, Britain is cancer to it.

Is there more concern that the UK government will falsify the results of the vote, or that they will find some way to openly discard the results, like giving some bullshit excuse about it not being legally possible to leave the EU?

Success for a pre-packed vegetable business in Northern Ireland

Loughshore Veg Ltd, a pre-packed vegetable producer in Derrylaughan, Northern Ireland, wanted to meet the demands of large supermarket chains. By investing in new buildings and machinery, the company has been able to increase its capacity, improve staff working conditions and create jobs. This, in turn, is expected to create opportunities for primary producers, who will be able to expand their businesses in order to meet the increased demand. (EU funding: GBP 401 520 -EUR 478 000)

Superfast broadband in rural areas (Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly)

Thanks to the Superfast Cornwall project, at least 80 % of homes and businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will have fibre-optic superfast broadband by 2015, making the region one of the best-connected places in the world. The EU contributed GBP 55.1 million (EUR 65.6 million), more than half of the investment needed.

West coast mainline

The EU contributed GBP 66 million (EUR 78.6 million) to the modernisation of the west coast mainline. The route connects London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Thanks to the project, the line now connects with the Channel Tunnel rail link and thus with mainland Europe. As a result, passenger and freight journey times have been cut (journey times from London to Manchester reduced to 2 hours), helping to shift traffic from the roads.
Better access to Port Talbot (Wales)

The EU contributed GBP 51.7 million (EUR 61.5 million) to opening up access to Port Talbot and its dock area. The new dual carriageway access road and cycle/pedestrian path will improve access to the city and promote sustainable transport solutions. Less traffic congestion will help to improve both the environment and quality of life in Port Talbot. In addition, better access to the dock area will increase shipping activity and waterfront development in the region,

Older people for Older people (Scotland, Northern Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden)

The O4O project (Older people for Older people) developed alternative ways of providing support and services for older citizens living in rural areas of northern Europe by mobilising the elderly to help their peers. In Tongue (Scotland), a community transport group was set up. ‘It gives me a bit of my independence back,’ says 95 year-old Tongue resident Georgina MacLeod. The O4O project received GBP 1 million (EUR 1.2 million) from the EU.

Redundancy Action Scheme (Wales)

The ReAct programme funds training for people hit by redundancy. The goal is to help them increase their skills and improve their chances of returning to work as quickly as possible. The programme can also fund employers who recruit people made redundant. Thanks to ReAct, Dawson Shanahan Ltd has been able to re-employ and train 21 workers. The programme received GBP 23.4 million (EUR 27.8 million) from the EU.

European Capitals of Culture

After Glasgow in 1990, Liverpool was European capital of culture in 2008. The many cultural events, activities and projects organised attracted 10 million visitors. Local authorities also took this opportunity to complete a large restoration programme for the city. The Liverpool Culture Company received GBP 808.7 million (EUR 962.7 million) from different EU funds.

New Centre for Regenerative Medicine (Edinburgh)

The EU contributed GBP 5.5 million (EUR 6.6 million) to the construction of new facilities for the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine. The new building contains a state-of-the-art laboratory, facilities to manufacture stem cell lines and office space for biotechnology companies. This combination of expertise will significantly benefit research into conditions such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and multiple sclerosis, and provide an optimum environment for translating laboratories’ discoveries into treatments for patients.

European Partnership Action against Cancer (all members of the EU)

The European Partnership for Action Against Cancer (EPAAC) brings together different stakeholders from all over Europe in a joint effort to prevent and control cancer. The Partnership facilitates the transfer of knowledge and best practices between EU countries. It should help to reduce cancer incidence by 15 % by 2020, and ensure that all EU countries have national cancer plans. The Partnership received GBP 2.7 million (EUR 3.15 million) from the EU.

Resource efficiency support (Manchester)

ENWORKS provides environmental advice and a support service that helps companies to make better use of resources and shows how green innovation can boost productivity, cut costs and increase profits. The EU co-financed the project with up to GBP 6.2 million (EUR 7.4 million). Thanks to ENWORKS’ advice, industrial bakery equipment company Cleanbake has installed a heat recovery system in ovens, changed the way it uses chemicals and reduced hazardous waste. This has helped Cleanbake to reduce costs and win new contracts.

Wind turbine blades testing facility (Northumberland)

The EU contributed GBP 4.62 million (EUR 5.5 million) to build a facility designed to test offshore wind turbine blades. The new facility will be the largest in the world and has been designed to test the longer blades being developed. It will ensure that the UK and the EU can continue being a leader in this sector and export their technology around the world.

you spend on the development of markets. u spend on a road in poland for instance, which means your goods arrive on time, in less time, allowing your deliveries to be more consistent. you pay so that others get educated so they can become competitive and so afford to buy more of your goods. you don't for instance pay for the education of your immigrants. so u get highly qualified immigrants for which your educational system did not have to pay. is that part of your calculus too. thought not.

you get more than you account for, but yes you get less back than you spend on a national basis, but not so on a regional basis. but this is because you are a big player in the union, you wear bigboy pants, you want a bigger say ( u did from 1975 till the referendum) so u pay more. and as u say u are one of the big economies in europe trying to foster a better europe. if u wanted you consider yourselves a don of the eu, while not a founding member, an important contributor with a great deal to offer, a great deal to contribute, and in return and in time to a great deal to reap.

>The Eu is an enemy of democracy, and should be washed away.

I'm not really a fan of democracy, but I agree with you that the EU should be washed away. And even more than being an enemy of democracy, the EU is an enemy of freedom in general.

>Brexit will be the stepping stone to a brighter future.

Yes brother, so make it happen. Us non-Brits are counting on you.

>But even more important than brexit, for the overall struggle, is France. If Marine Le Pen wins, the game is over for the Eu. The real battle will be in France, and Germany to be against the Eu, and for Trump to lead the free world to nationalism.

The real battle here is not in any individual country, it's against a totalitarian ideology that seeks more and more centralisation of power that shall be wielded by people who are DEEPLY sociopathic and want only what is the very worst for everyone.

i did address your argument. perhaps you did not understand my counter.

Look as a nation you contribute more than you receive back. Correct.
But on a regional basis, because you do understand the eu sees only regions, not nation states the picture is different. You are a country with one major city, the rest is more or less countryside market towns, each with a greggs on the high street. So london is actually paying for most of your eu bill, because thats where all the money in britain comes from anyway, broadly speaking. However, an area like cornwall, or the ne of england recieve more back from the eu than they contribute, because on a national level they do pretty much fuck all - what do u do for a living as a young worker in the ne of england - you work in a fucking call centre, having your soul slowly drained away. But the eu invests in areas i.e. regions which need investment. So in fact london receives nothing compared to the return of money to the ne, or cornwall, or scotland. but this is the problem when u live in a country with a primate city ( a largest in-country city which is more than twice as large as the next largest city ). Most other countries do not have a primate city. but you do. Which is why some areas of britain contribute very little to the national and eu fiscus and in return get more than they contribute. u unnerstan my man?
>>
>Brits honestly think their masters will allow them to leave the EU

Haha
>>
Man... I remember when Britain was such a proud country, built on principles, morals, class, and integrity. But over the years, that shit has just gone out the window to degeneracy, constant importing of refugees, and big brother growing more and more out of control each day.

What happened to you Britain? Will you ever come back? Will you ever be your proud self once more?

>>75966578
my next point is that you are not counting all the monies. you should be more jewlike in this. if a highly educated euro comes and works in britain and pays the taxes like he should, then that is a massive win for britain. the british tax payer did not send him to school, pay his teachers, pay for his doctors when he got bronchitis or even for his expensive education. that was paid for by someone else. so if u want to be honest about the monies, you need to count them as if they were sheckles and as if u were a jew.
Not only that but you have to realise that the money was spent and invested over a 20-30 year period somewhere else. u not a time traveller are you. for instance if you need computer programmers u cant go back to 1985 or 1995 and start investing in it education to adress the shortfall in qualified software engineers. but its ok, because somewhere someone was investing in those skills. and for free you can have them. this really is not difficult.

WWI and WWII. That's the long and short of it, really. WWI was really fucking expensive, and the economy hadn't really recovered properly when WWII started, where something like 90+% of the entire country's economy was dedicated to the war for six years. Britain was left with no money and had vast areas blown apart by bombing to fix with what little they had and it all went from there; especially since they had to promise independence to India - one of the big money makers - to secure vital supplies of soldiers when there was nobody else to turn to. Tragically, those Indian soldiers aren't even recognised by the Indian government despite literally preventing a Japanese invasion of the country at one point because they fought for Britain.

im not sure about the outnumber part of it. and as I understand it, its getting more difficult to come over and leech. but sure there are scum anywhere, I personally have met some britscum who openly scheme about getting preggies before they 20 so they can get a flat, or pretend to have a back injury so they can defraud the benefits scheme and hang out with their mates drinking pints and floggin eighths to strangers. but u get that everywhere. I think tho that a lot of britains problems are home grown tho, for instance the housing shortage. thats a self engineered problem. and I can take you through the facts on that one as I see them if we want to go there. the eu for some reason has become a proxy scapegoat for those problems, and unfortunately sacrificing that scape goat wont actually fix the underlying issues.
