Haven't had much experience with my parents sharing their beliefs but they don't seem too radical or anything one way or the other. When that taco bowl thing happened with Trump my mom said "I don't see what the big fuss is about", and when Trump said that listening to Hillary give a speech gave him a headache my dad laughed.

On my mother's side, it's all Irish Catholics, working-class rural folks who are hardcore Trumpers.
Father's side are sort of a mixed batch of English and Welsh ancestry, who refuse to vote Democrat or Republican, and go third party instead.
