They can't, the treaties say EU law is supreme. It's a rule of law issue. The treaties are law, and the treaties give European law supremacy over national law. Member states must make EU directives into law. That law is then enforced by the police and the courts of member states. This is the price of EU membership.

It doesn't. The European Convention on Human Rights and the court which enforces it is *separate from the European Union*.
Every EU Law on rights or work regulations is either already implemented via British legislation or is surpassed by British legislation i.e. greater protections/more rights.
Those laws are not going to magically disappear from the statute role when we leave.

Is is true. They can leave (for the moment), but so long as they're in the EU they're bound by the treaties which say EU law is supreme. This is how it works, it's a supernational organisation. It stopped being a simple trading bloc 30 years ago.
