I think its about time smart people are a protected class. You wouldn't believe how many places don't hire me because I don't speak in words shorter than 2 syllables at an interview. You wouldn't believe how many times I've been scoffed at because I put down "University" instead of "community college" on my resume. You wouldn't believe how many times I am asked the meme question "why are you applying here." They are supposed to "like" the response: "I need a job and I need money," because it is honest. Doesn't work if you are smart. It's time smart people become a protected class.
