To make an argument your own persona or identity shouldn't be something that should give more value to your argument. Is a mistake everyone makes, "ohhh this person is a doctor, he must know something about politics" or "this guy is an engineer, he must know what companies to invest in".
Anonymity discussion is the ultimate form of discussion where the value of the arguments come from what you are saying and not who you are.
