I went to school with a uniform, you kind of hate it in primary school, but in high school it was really good.

It's not really the case at all. We felt no unity or togetherness around others in the same uniform, weak or troubled kids were bullied regardless, kids still pissed around in class delaying lessons pretty much daily, and there was no collective increase in grades. Dumb kids remain dumb kids.
