Yeah, foreign automakers are booming. Meanwhile, the American car industry, along with most other American industries, is rapidly declining.

>dow jones nearly tripled
no, but regardless his term started at an incredibly lucky time for this measurement
>deficit cut by 2/3
OK, despite his best efforts to blow money on nigger projects, the GOP-controlled congress has prevented spending from ballooning
>historically low inflation
this is not a good (or bad) thing
>automakers booming
no

If you go here and select the option for U6 you'll get the alternate measure data over the last ten years
the big spike started in 2008, hitting highs in 2010 16-17%.
(you could blame barry omaha for causing a recession by running for an office he hadn't won yet, if you're an idiot.)
now it's down to 9.7 which still doesn't get us back to the good old days of 2006 but is still significantly lower than the high / closer to where we were.
Also not "half" but fairly close, also the "half" could come from the non-alternative, standard unemployment measure

looking here, you can see that going by the standard (non-alternative) unemployment rate, it's dropped from a peak of 10% in 2009 to 5% now
