I work for the British Met Office and we had warned our German counterparts of computer models we had run 3 days in advance, yet they had the audacity to literally laugh at the senior forecaster in the call conference.
This is kind of like michael fish all over again, but instead of it being some American woman calling the Met Office, it was the Met Office calling the DWD. I kid you not, we said the chance of unprecedented floods was about 20-25% based on our models, but I don't think they even looked at our data.
