Germany couldn't even have an army (limitations of the first war). Hitler built a fucking huge one and everyone pretended it wasn't happening and tried to be cool with Germany. Then Germany invaded a country. Other nations still tried to be nice and pretend that never happened, then Germany started fucking steamrolling half of the western Europe, and suddenly the other nations are the bad guys for not letting them conquer the entire world?

It's not a matter of accepting it, that thing was imposed on Germany by other countries with brute strength. If he refused to accept it then, well, you know what would happen, it sort of happened, Germany was blown the fuck out by the entire world.
