Do you retards not know what science is? It's not some crazy conspiracy or even a belief system. It is simply a method through which we can test and confirm/disprove hypotheses through observation and empirical evidence. That is far preferable to "muh tradition" and "muh religion"

This is easily the second stupidest molyjew video i've ever not watched. And there are a lot I haven't watched, so that's saying something.

Yes: You shouldn't just trust a scientific headline.

"Atheism" as in the new atheist movement (aka sam harris and richard dawkins), encourages people to use logic reason and evidence (aka science) to make deductions about their world.

Steph proves once again that he's a total idiot and is simply conflating communism with athiesm AGAIN.

And i didn't even watch it.

They have a hero, humans tend to flock to those figures to help understand both the world and those on it. It's understandable, the world is extremely complex and confusing, the problem is that if you don't put those figures beyond doubt, how could you trust what they say or their intentions? That is obviously very dangerous, putting your hopes on an individual, because every individual is fallible.

The worst thing about learning about truth of human nature is how lonely you feel knowing that in truth you can never trust on someone with heart and soul.

AnCap won't mean much if it can't get off this planet.

If Molyneux is arguing against public founding the obvious reason why he's wrong is because private founding only does so with profit in mind, things which they can not profit, say something they can't patent, they won't found it. That is ALREADY true, we depend on public founding to make crazy ideas come true.

Of course *you* wouldn't understand, you're a Brazillian. You don't live in the West. Society is already decaying. Like, super fucking fast. This kind of decay and ignorance hasn't been seen since the glorious Mycenians decayed into little more than illiterate boat niggers. Now its happening again. Only this time, if we allow ourselves to even stop producing and finding more fuel for a year, we're fucked. Billions of people depend on oil for agriculture. And if we even fall back to Roman levels of civilization, we're still fucked because we've already used most of the easily accessable oil on the planet. The rest is locked under the sea or the artic, where you require oil to buld machines that can harvest the oil in the first place.

>>75287934

You should worship science. Not because good, but its the only thing we have left. If we give up now, as I explained, we're doomed. And wehat can MNolyneux offer you, seriously? Free Market capitalism isn't fair or just. Its doesn't reward hard working intelligent people. It rewards niggers and prostitutes like Molyneux and Pewdiepie who say and say do the stupidest things for click bait, which is why Molyneux supports it. As long as you have a large audience for dat ad money and dem donations, it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong.
>>
>>75288632

Molyneux is. His entire hypothesis is based on UPB, which is proven wrong every time a person take a bite out of a pice of chicken. Sometimes, it is preferable to steal from something else. And this isn't morally wrong because PROPERTY RIGHTS DON'T EXIST. Therefore, there is literally no reason to consider what he says.

>>
>>75289097

They don't. If they did, Carnivores wouldn't exist. Property right are *enforced*, like all rights, by humans. Which is why you have the second amendment, at least in theory. In reality, there's nothing stopping anyone from stealing your shit, other than the fact others humans give a shit. If they didn't, then property rights don't exist.

Think about it this way. Molyneux is in love with UPB. But when a man goes out and catches his game, and he eats the flesh that animal carefully nurtured and labored on, Molyneux takes no issue. And the reason he doesn't is because its not human. He doesn't consider it to have full appropriation of its body. But to the Universe or nature, that isn't human or animal. Its detached, so it considers you going out and killing another person and eating them to be no different. Which molyneux would certainly take issue with. He's detatched from reality.

2. Don't trust scientists. They are owned by the State and you know it: the State touches it, it sucks.

>why atheism, which encourage people to workship science, can be dangerous

This isn't true. Atheism doesn't innately encourage anything. Now, the "new atheist" movement is shit and encourages the "fucking love of science." Richard Dawkins followers are worse than religious-types. However, they're not the only strain of atheism.

The problem is not atheism itself, it's just this specific movement that's dominated atheism. Their mistake is they think that science should replace religion. This is wrong. A worship of science should not follow atheism, art/culture should. You're guys' beloved Nietzsche says the same thing. As does Hume, Schopenhauer and Mill.

Nietzsche thought the masses needed religion. He thought widespread secularism would be destructive, because most people can't handle themselves, they'd self-destruct and/or be complacent. He foresaw "nihilism" for the masses with the removal of religion.

And he was right.

No. In Twilight of the Idols he points out how religion isn't enough. How it fundamentally doesn't work for humanity because its ideals are unattainable and should therefore be gotten rid of.

He goes onto say that nihilism will ensue from religion's ousting and that this state is insecure. It follows from this that we need a replacement for religion to defend ourselves from the cancerous void of nihilism, i.e. culture and art.

His argument against religion and Christianity more specifically was that it placed artificial bounds and "guilt" on what would've otherwise been history-making men.

But Nietzsche never wrote his books for the blockhead at Walmart to say "I'm der ubermensch, look at my fedora, now I need my hotpockets to cope with the stress of life."

He'd think that is ludicrous, and that most of the weak "herd" need herd religion to deal. His revulsion came toward the strong adhering to this herd morality, in which the result would be as he put it "everyone an invalid or an invalid's attendant."
>>
>>75284029
And let me guess. You actually believe that scientists which are only given grants in attempts to prove something, are 100% honest 100% of the time and don't mess with their shit?

Which is essentially what you have with all of these Christcuck losers wanting women's rights and privileges (men being an invalid's attendant, since women only care about equality of outcome, NOT equality), refugees (more invalid attendant), and Popes kissing niggers feet (okay, maybe not invalid attendant as much as foot fetish homosexual interracial porn).

In the biological world we call them "biostitutes." If you look at any discipline there are people who are willing to sell out for money. That's why you have to look at all the evidence and the methods used to get there to see if what someone is saying make sense, which requires a degree of scientific literacy that most don't have.

That's why metastudies and repetition are important. In a metastudy, you compile all the current literature and then run them through a statistical ringer to make sure they're accurate. Repetition insures that fakes are caught. Science is a self-correcting system when everything works right, but there's a lot of other outside factors that you have to deal with. It isn't perfect, but it's the best way to deal with a problem or question.

I can give you a real life example of scientific chicanery. Take the Briggs-Myers test. Multiple studies have been done testing the efficacy of the test and have found it lacking, yet it's still in the mind of the public as the methodology seems scientific. Businesses use it for promotions and hiring and people pridefully parrot their type (look at the threads that pop up on /pol/ from time to time). Part of the reason it's so prevalent? It's a huge cash cow for the Myers & Briggs Institute and the Center for Applications of Psychological Type that promotes it, sells the tests, certifies people in administering the test, and then props it up with research from the seemingly scientific journal called the "Journal of Psychological Type." Who edits and puts out the journal? The Center for Application of Psychological Type and the Myers and Briggs Institute.

I think everyone with some critical thinking ability understands this. However, you should never assume that any significant percentage of a population is capable of critical thinking.

What society has done, and atheists in particular, is to treat science like a religion. Not just well researched, respectable, peer reviewed science, but also all the bunk pseudo-science that comes about. Scientists are now treated like celebrities and priests - when science says something is so, it is so. Other scientists may debate the findings of another scientist, but no common man can ever do so. That's the point that he makes in the video. As you can see by looking at this thread, it's not a idea that is widely tolerated anymore.

Science, mainly cutting edge physics, is the closest man has yet come to figuring out god.

On the other hand, modern day-academia is a cesspit of judeo-marxism. "Higher learning" is the veritable cancer that's killing mankind, while in it's shadow science bravely marches on.

Gas the liberal arts. Gas STEM. Gas them all and give gas until only starry-eyed physicists remain. Maybe retain a few chosen maths fags to act as the liberal arts of tomorrow.
