Did you know that GMO producers like Starcorn and Monsanto are subject to paying out of pocket for quarterly inspections by three different government agencies for quality control compared to organic producers who aren't subject to the same scrutiny because they label themselves that way, often using their own insecticides or repellants that also aren't subject to nearly as much inspection?

Did you also know that the concept of agriculture itself is man-made and that there weren't large square fields of crops before we cultivated them that way, and that foods like corn were inedible until we unnaturally selected the strains to grow?

Did you also know that if there were some conspiracy regarding GMOs that virtually the entire US government, body of research universities and the field of biology and bioengineering, making up thousands upon thousands of people, would have to be in on the fix?

No seriously, some of the wackier folks who think GMOs will start turning us into frankenstein creatures believe that there's some big fix when in reality that would require an astounding number of people, and by some miracle not a single one of those could make a peep about it.

Of course there are some legitimate concerns over GMOS, but it's always the one or two quacks who had nothing to do with the field of science coming from out of nowhere to publish (or worse, make a press announcement) about their discoveries, without peer review or the usual parameters of the scientific method. Guys like Gilles-Eric Séralini who are doing damage with their baloney.

topkek, you faggots are are delusional as European leftist that defend multiculturalism. Its just two different ways to destroy a country, GMO doesn't sell here so they do it with migrants, mass importing muslims doesn't sell in the US so they do it with shit food.

The GMO corn is rolled in a green mix of fertilizer and starter pesticides. The other seeds are popcorn, not sweet or flint corn.

>>
Never had a problem with GMO crops so long as they are tested to be safe and not cause unintended effects.

The problem is the same ignorant Liberal cucks that share the anti-vaxer, anti-science mindset are against GMO for all the wrong reasons.
What they should be pissed about is how companies like Monsanto and Cargill can copy write and charge ROYALTIES on a living self-replicating organism. There needs to be a definition on the actual genetic "code" and the seed/organism itself.
It outrageous to charge farmers to reuse seed, it would be another story if they copied that code and sold F2 hybirds of i.e Roundup resistant corn to other farmers that I can understand.

But honestly on the health side of things, if you belive you will get cancer from GMO, recombinant DNA or whatever nutty Frankenstein beliefs your a retard and shows you have limited understanding of basic biology and genetics.
>>
>>75276775
Also there needs to be a Open source or GNU equivalent for GMO seeds.
>>

GMOs are safe bros. What is happens is the bad genes are tuned off and the good ones are turned on. They're the Alphas of the plant world. Imagine we did the same to humans and only breed top tier whites while restricting lower tier race breeding close to extinction. GMO=White. Hmm.

You mean turning off the genes that allows the plants to produce viable offspring/seeds? Yeah, just imagine the possibilities.

>I thought they get GMd so they don't need so much pesticides.
It works both ways. They can either make GMO's that kills the pests that eat it, but the pests sooner or later adapts and eat it anyway.

But its much more lucrative to design it in such a way that it will survive being sprayed by massive amounts of herbicides/pesticides, like roundup, then you can make loads of money selling both the self terminating seeds and the chemicals used to spray them. Then sooner or later the weeds that the herbicides is designed to kill (to stop them from stealing nutrients from the GMO crop) also adopts. Then they have to make a new strain that can survive being sprayed with more herbicide or a new herbicide.

And when sprayed enough normal corn can't grow in that soil anymore and then you have the farmers locked up in your GMO system and each year they have to buy new seeds (since GMO seeds are self terminating) and more herbicide spray from your company.

Loads of money.
>>
>>75278117
they have pesticide markings on them. pyshopesticides.
Most people with wheat problems are actually responding to the GMO markings in their gut, not the wheat. like 97% of wheat in the US is GMO now and we don't even now what it does
