The Narcos act as their dogs, this way they can eliminate problematic members of society without it being too obvious. How do you get Narcos? Poor people. Partially fix this

Nominally, we value the individual highly, so I don't think the "We're all faceless cogs subservient to the State" aspect of fascism will fly. Still, we're pretty simple and easily swayed by propaganda. Plus, the average person's understanding of (or even interest in) history is very slight. So perhaps it could happen. Relabel it patriotism and you're good to go.

I think yes. The current american culture has many things in common with Nazism, just rephrased.
1) Exceptionalism. The idea of being such a special new thing , never seen before , so that normal judgement and normal criteria are not applying, which proofs you are right even when you are wrong. This was the core of nazist propaganda, just with a different name.
2) Fetish for war, celebration of the army. This has reach a grotesque level, which is the same if not worst than the Hitler fetish for parades.
3) The fetish for the perfect , good looking body. This was a fetish of the fascism, and the fascist art could be now used as an advertisement for many brands, since you share with nazism the idea that a successful person must have some given body shape.
4) Propaganda. Hollywood still benefits of the same taxes exemption as in 1944. Of course, since they come from the government, Hollywood still wants to please the government itself, to avoid this situation of privilege stops. This is ending in a Hollywood celebrating like victories even your most blatant defeats , like Vietnam. (Sorry to inform you John Rambo , Aka Sly Stallone, never dit a single day of military service, btw. Probably he couldn’t survive a night, in Vietnam.).
5) A fetish for technology. This obsession for modernization and dynamism is more or less common to all fascist dictatorship.
6) Extremely violent police. German police shoot in total 96 bullet last year, and the worst city of germany still has half of the best crime ratio in the USA. There is no need to shoot people at the ratio this happens in the USA.
7) Bullysm is tolerated at school and considered normal, when not pushed. Also common with nazism (fascism was not liking that so much).
So yes, basically a nazist-like program, just rephrasing the most typical sentences, has a lot of chances to win in the USA.
