All new all different marvel happened. It's not only captain america, most heroes got redesigned, for example we have a gay black/hispanic spiderman now. HYDRA in the comics aren't nazis. The whole HYDRA = Nazis thing is a misconception perpetrated by people who have only watched the movies where HYDRA was linked to the Nazis.
In the comics, HYDRA was an ancient Japanese (or ambiguous "eastern") organization that Baron Strucker (admittedly a former Nazi) co-opted after the war and funded with his Nazi gold to become a terrorist organization seeking a new world order through world domination. But it wasn't a nazi organization. They didn't hold nazi beliefs. They didn't care about race, religion, sexuality, nationality or any of that stuff and they certainly weren't nationalists for any nation since they sought the subjugation and destabilization of all nations. They just sought world domination.
There have been plenty of heroes that have briefly fought alongside HYDRA and there are multiple actual HYDRA members that have been shown to actually be relatively decent guys in the past, most notably Bob, Agent of HYDRA.
So basically, this whole controversy of "Captain America is a Nazi!" is purely a result of people who don't read comics assuming things in the comics are exactly like the movies.
Comics HYDRA, the HYDRA that Cap is saying he's part of here, has NEVER been a nazi orginization. Very loose ties to the nazis in their inception, sure, but having ONE of your heads (of which there were many) be a former nazi who renounced those beliefs after the former doesn't suddenly make it a nazi organization any more than the republican party is a nazi organization because a couple of its politicians might have been neo-nazis in their youths.
Divorced from the whole nazi thing (which as I said is just wrong), all this is is Cap doing a temporary heel turn, which is one of the most standard superhero plots that pretty much EVERY hero has done. Fucking Tony Stark does a temporary heel turn once a decade and no one cares.

Comic books and sci-fi/literature meanwhile have been overrun. Which happened because it was a slow and gradual process and pretty much the first time they did it in such a way. It however ended up with various groups fighting them tooth and nail when they try to get a foot in the door anywhere else and for good reason.
Then again, they're KILLING comic books and literature they've taken over. Sci-fi is rapidly dying as it stands, because the "gender changing magic matriarchy fantasy" doesn't really measure up to actual sci-fi and most of the readers dropped out. So once they well and truly ruined these most of them will move on, at which point it will fall to others to rebuild, create anew and watch out for them to try and get back in.
