When I pointed out that Chernobyl didn't have nearly the kill rate that they believed, and many refused to leave the exclusion zone and are still alive to day with only minor adverse effects to their health. I was shouted down as being an evil nuclear industry shill that had been planted into the group.
After that day all I could see were the hypocrisies in the groups and movements. So I set off to research the beliefs of the opposition and eventually became a far-right nationalist.
