Vancouver is expensive as fuck but the interior is really nice.
Live in Kelowna and it's pretty good. Awesome weather except for the 3 months of winter which is usually only -10C to 5C, couple ski hills that are only 2-3 hours away, big fucking lake and Vancouver is only 3 hours away if you want to get that big city experience, also the fastest growing city in Canada and BC has the best job creation in Canada. BC also gets tons of cool festivals and shitloads of great campgrounds and trails. If you aren't an out doorsy person you probably won't like it though.
