I've been doing some research /pol/ and I'm very interested in getting some feedback.
Mouth breathing is a proper medical condition and has been linked to all sorts of things such as sleep disorders (sleep apnea and snoring), dental problems (crowded teeth, gingivitis) and facial development (long-face syndrome). Another interesting side effect of mouth breathing is the increase in the supply of oxygen to the prefrontal cortex. The prefrontal cortex is the part of the brain that governs planning complex cognitive behaviour, personality expression, decision making and moderating social behaviour. As we all know an increase in oxygen stimulates brain function so what I theorise is that rather than someone suffering from FMS being guaranteed to be an SJW that those who are exposed to liberal thinking are for more vocal in the their outbursts of it.

From what I found the only effect that FMS has on the brain is the increased supply of oxygen to the PFC.
The physical effects are more concentrated on the mouth and nose.

My hypothesis on the "FMS" is that those are the women who learned already early in their childhood that being a woman and smiling can get them everything they want. Just pull up your upper lip and expose your teeth. Immediately makes you look cute and irresistable. I do believe that the meat is in the sleeping pattern. If you do monitor SaO2 and PaO2 on mouth vs nasal breathing while people are wake, you wil find little dif. Whoever, while they sleep, the offer of O2 is smaller using the mouth.

Look up Mike Mew. He gave a lecture about jaw posture and how to prevent this. Off the top of my head, it's a combination of having the head forward (such as when one leans forward reading tumblr) and from having a weaker/underdeveloped jaw for a myriad of reasons, not least of which is a diet consisting of soft and easy to chew foods.

I have a receded chin but not the fish mouth part. My mouth is normal. It really sucks because I mightve been decently attractive had my jaw/chin developed correctly. The good news is I'm active duty and I got lucky to receive the corrective surgery to put my jaw in place and receive implants. This surgery also includes liposuction of my face to increase my jaw definition.

Nose breathing gives you nitric oxide - a hormone that helps vasodilation and calmness, where as mouth breathing gives you none of that
Also the increased mouth breathing means reduced oxygen efficiency as well as reduced vasodilation (blood vessels constrict and can't get oxygenated blood to the brain). This means they get less oxygen in their brain, and probably have a much harder time thinking.
There's a shit load of other problems, but I'm just pointing out the one.

your nose naturally constricts to reduce airflow when you're breathing too much. A common example of this for other people would be waking up with a stuffy nose, because breathing always gets heavier throughout sleep.
Chances are you have swollen adenoids. Instead of removing them, I'd suggest you increase your body oxygen efficiency.
Realistically the only way to do that is exercise. If you have trouble breathing through your nose when exercising, just breath through your mouth, but at a lower rate then you might be comfortable with. Pic related is a marathon runner nose breathing.
