Pennsylvania here, you're one lucky fucker. I have cousins up in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, and we occasionally visit New Hampshire. It's like driving on air. PENDOT are literally the most incompetent group of faggots anywhere in the United States.
I live near a bridge that's over 100 years old. They shut the fucking thing down sometime in fall, only allowing one car at a time to go over it, and setting up a system of like 3 unnecessary stop signs. After about a year, all they've managed to do is paint it a new colour and put up some scaffolding, along with a few rivets. Fucking. Incredible. They're also more concerned with putting red noses on the fucking DEER X-ING signs around winter than they are filling in potholes. You literally have to use 4wd on anything that doesn't go directly from one town to the next.
