Why do you think the US has airbases and naval bases all over the world? Pick very very related. That thing carries 2,000 Marines. There are 4 of them on the US east coast alone, and if we were willing to wait, we could bring all of them into play, along with about 30,000 Marines.
Throw in Strategic Bombers, a few carrier task groups and the 82nd Airborne Division which is always staged to deploy rapidly, and the US could show up in Finland with around 20,000 soldiers within 3 weeks, and by 8 weeks that number can be 70,000. By 16 Weeks, 150,000, and by 32 weeks if we have gone full DEFCON, the entire active military could be in Finland.
We've never had to move that fast in the past. Mainly because of the enormous expense. But it is doable.

But he did it. As for the threat to the Baltics, that threat would motivate rapid response even more, rather then deter it.
There would be no immediate action. Russia will see the forces mobilizing over the intervening 3-4 weeks, and those assault ships getting closer and entering the Baltic sea. They would be faced with a faustian choice at that point. Call things off, or try to attack the fleet. If they choose the latter, it won't matter how unimportant Finland is, shit goes supernova.
