>In late May 2016, a video reportedly leaked on social media application Snapchat which depicted a 15-year-old girl, identified by the community as Jessica Whitehorse [3] , having sex in a South Fort Myers High School bathroom with up to 25 boys, many of whom were members of the school's football team. Since then, no reputable hosting of the video can be found online.
>Principal Melissa Layner reported the incident to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s school-based deputy, Jarrod Cantrell, the following morning. Because of the age of the student, the Special Victims Unit was called into the high school. No staff members have been disciplined, and the school refuses to discuss the situation with disciplining students.
