you're safe in the convention center. stay away from the protectors outside who will be massed there. parking lot should still be guarded by police and they will begin to have protesters be rowdy once the event ends around 230. stay with groups of supporters leaving the convention back to your room. don't engage in any of the protesters as they have a pack mentality and will swarm you.
I believe you may be the guy taking his girlfriend to the rally from the trump general thread before. I'm going there super early with my female friend. She's wearing a blazer and a red tie to support. The security lines take a while and get there early so you can be sure to get in. Even if you have a ticket they may turn you away as they over register. Trump does do signings at the end so if you get there early you get better seats.
