Personally I went with a PTR 91 gi, put a long rail, put a decent scope, grabbed a night vision add on, bought a shitload of surplus magazines and ammo, spent a little on a wide forarm and an IR light mount. Spent less than a used scar, fully loaded and Im dead on with it at 600 yards.

I've been considering it for some time. I think the time has come. Somewhere out there I read that you should build an AR instead of buying one off the shelf. I'm in the process of researching everything I need to know in order to build one.

Trying to stay with just a handful of calibers for my newbie fun collection. wanted a bolt action that shot 7.62x39. There is only one that I can find, and thankfully it's a CZ. All the reviews have been stellar, but wondering if any of you faggots have one of these. It's freakin gorgeous.

Hi points may seem like crap, but they're decent cheap guns. A lot of people like them. It's just the internet forum gun "experts" that think everyone should and can spend 500 bucks more. They have a lifetime warranty too desu.
