we should be lowering corporate tax rate on companies who keep their operations at home and raising it on companies that outsource the majority of their manufacturing
a 35% tariff is like nuking your city to swat a fly, the negatives are far worse than the positives
maybe a 25% INCREASED tariff (as tariffs are very low right now) might help this but a straight 35% increase in prices of imports is pants-on-head retarded and would cause massive stagflation

It's a little more nuanced than what the media is attempting to make us believe. He hasn't propose a tariff on EVERYONE. Just the specific ones who don't play fair.
