I don't understand why elections cannot just be electronic, open & anonymous.
You go to the polling place with valid ID to show you are citizen of legal voting age. You go into a booth and register you vote on a computer screen, a confirmation is shown and a unique ID number is printed for you. It's not connected to your real identity in any way. Immediately when a vote is cast it's added to a open list online that anyone can view, it lists all the votes and the unique ID next to the votes and where that vote was cast, the polling stations would also collect statistics on how many voters have voted at each polling station, (independent groups also invited to keep track on this) this will prevent non-existent votes from being added.
Anyone can go at any time after they have cast their vote to look at the list and find their unique ID and confirm that their vote is as they cast it.

You can probably tell I'm a lib, but I'm not far-left, I consider myself rather moderate. I don't like the influx of refugees at all (but I still think they deserve to be helped, but not by moving them to Europe in such great numbers) - but I don't want to see nationalists in a position of power either. My big problem is that I don't have a party that represents me. I do not agree with the establishment, yet no other party provides a viable alternative.
The AfD is a bunch of reactionary assholes consisting of neoliberal fetishists. Literally the only thing I support is their stance on immigration, everything else is detestable to me.
I want an anti-establishment, non-extremist, non-reactionary party. But there is none.
