I hate Trump because he is a clueless, lying buffoon who is taking advantage of the stupidity of the GOP base in order to win elections. I hate Trump because he represents the right wing of this country, and I do not support the positions of the right-wing. Clinton is a better option for me because she represents a chance at a liberal majority on the supreme court, which this country desperately needs, as well as someone who can:
1) Potentially have coattails that would give the Senate back to the Democrats
2) Act as a buffer between a radical right-wing House of Representatives/possibly Senate and veto the bad legislation they try to pass.
Trump is too much of a question mark to say for sure that he won't sign Congress's bad legislation, and he has already put out a list of conservative SCOTUS justices that I do not want us to appoint. It's really that simple.

First of all, she still leads in most of the crucial swing states, and this is despite the fact that Trump is in the middle of a temporary bump based on his wrapping up of the nomination. Hillary hasn't gotten her bump yet. She's going to make him look like a fool during the debates, and his bully routine won't work in the general election like it did in the GOP primary. Trump has no chance.

Recent history says otherwise. Obama won in 2008 and 2012 exactly by winning states like Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and NH. Ideally, we would have a liberal congress as well, but in the absence of that a liberal supreme court is the absolute limit of what we should find acceptable right now. The conservatives have proven in recent years that allowing them to appoint supreme court justices is BAD for our country.
