Not only do they offer me health care right out the gate, but they're also willing to boot me $8000 annually to study IT, and I intend to sign up for classes as early as possible. The only stipulation is I work for Verizon a year, but I intended to stay as long as I can to move up as high as possible.
I make $15.50/hr to sit on the phone and deal with peoples' billing. It's piss easy, and they let me use my cellphone to play games and browse 4chan all day between calls. It's great.
If you can deal with disgruntled people once or twice a day, you're good to go. Most folks I speak with are amicable.
