Puerto Ricans used to be very fervent in terms of wanting independence. Then the CIA launched their "Carpetas" program where they basically used psyops and brainwashing Puerto Ricans into wanting to stay with the US. Now they can't grasp the idea of being an independent nation. I even had one guy say "what would be the point of that?" When asked about PR independence. So now they get taken advantage of by the US government.
The Puerto Ricans got dumbed down really good. Almost scary how good of a job the US and the CIA did.

Lopez Rivera was offered a pardon by Bill Clinton. He and other co-faggots were offered an official pardon in the 90s. He was the only one who WILLINGLY did not take the pardon in an effort to seem like he had strong convictions. This, of course failed miserably since he is just rotting in jail like an idiot and no one rallied behind him like he expected while his partners have been enjoying freedom for 20 years.
