The fire would have to have engulfed the wing and make it into the pressurized cabin by then, and a hole in a pressurized cabin means the plane would have to have been already breaking apart in the time from the engine blowing to hitting the water/ground. Also planes can fly with damaged flaps, it'd have to lock the flap either up or down for it to send it in a spiral, if it damages the flap or rendered it inoperable they'd have to make an emergency landing and blow the tires
