i think trump would choose a VP based off of merit, and not based off of which group he can pander to the best. he has the ability to win the the election without pandering because he's a winner

There's a lot of incentive not to pick one as well. Trump has come out as a strong, abrasive candidate. Pandering would severely diminish his standing

Texas is red. And Perry has no Washington experience. I think Scott Brown has an outside chance. A chick would be a good choice too. No immediate options come to mind.
