I actually don't live in Venice but in a 10 minutes away city, so i'm often in there. The city is pretty expensive as you know, im not very into hotel/residence price. The restorant can be pretty expensive, but there are place where you can eat well and not spend much. The last problem is how much you like walk. Considering the fact that there aren't much way to travel around the city apart the ferryboat, you will walk a lot, even if the city isn't this big, so in summer it's gonna be pretty hot with 35+ degree
Romania is always a good place but we do have a bit of a gipsy problem but it's mostly in the cities.

Today I only saw Germans in the train. Two of them fat as the third Reich at 1942; a kid (don't know if that shit was a girl or a boy) with a really stupid harcut, a young pretty fucking hipster couple, the male had a very high pitched voice and wore clothes like it was witner. Overall they were pretty loud and moving around inside the train a lot.
Some frenchies were very abonoxious and loud, too, and doing their "R"s right next to me.
Meanwhile in my city there's a lot of Americans because it's the street league skateboarding (it's funny because they say it's in Barcelona when it's not) and they're skateboarding everywhere around the city. Literal +30 year old "men" going around on a board with wheels like they're fucking retarded.

Istanbul or Mogadishu are nice European cities. A little hot in July but still nice. Mogadishu is filled with nice Europeans, although i hear they are a bit meaner than Parisians. Also be careful in certain parts of Migadishu they can be a bit dodgy but no worse than Brussels or Paris.
