I actually live a block away from the biggest synagogue in NYC, and there is a small semi-hidden mosque across the street from me. The FBI has been on them since 9/11, and I see a lot of converts going there regularly. Ohio University is where I went. It was awesome. I mean, it's no Yale or anything, but you get the small college town life, and there are 2 big cities within an hour travel for if you need a mall or something. I absolutely loved it in Athens. I've never seen people so enthusiastic about the city they went to college in as the people who went to Ohio U. Everyone who lived in Athens loved it. Highly, highly recommended friendo. I can't imagine myself having gone anywhere other than Ohio University, the school and town are a big part of me. So many fond memories that I almost cry from the nostalgia when I think about how my life will never be as good again as my carefree days of living in a partying college town in Appalchia.
