Die Hälfte seiner Familie wurde damals von Kommunisten in Afghanistan umgebracht und der Besitzt verstaatlicht. Seine Familie ist später nach Deutschland geflohen, von wo aus sie danach nach Österreich gekommen sind. Sein Vater kann relativ gut Deutsch, seine Mutter eher schlecht. Nazis were never more than somewhere around 25%. Maybe it was 30%, maybe 20%, doesn't matter (the 3 somewhat pan-German parties in the 1930 elections together got ~20%). The 2 great political camps before the war were still red and black. Don't forget that Hitler marched his army into Austria in order to prevent Schuschnigg's referendum about Autrian independence - which without doubt the pan-Germans would have lost, by a lot. The Austrian nazis may have been especially fanatic, but they were never a majority, not even in 1940.
