I doubt it crashed. As with any major aircraft disappearances in the past 50 years, a wreckage had always been found. Debris is easily manipulated and that's how we came to believe that Isis is behind this because the papers we've recovered asks if the Abu Sayyaf have neccessary materials to recreate a plane debris. The instructions were specific including the possible length and width of the debris.
We were actually supposed to have our own plane disappearance but was thwarted back in Zamboanga del sur when the NBI and the Philippine Army intercepted the would be terrorists but the idiots killed them in a gun fight so we can't really extract any more info aside from certain words in the Sayyaf Papers.
