/int/ is really a sister board of /r9k/ and /pol/, but it doesn't have a similar ubiquity to it.

These boards care about content more than anything else, so they have both a more general demographic appeal, less drama, and less discussion in general.
/wsg/, /gif/, /f/, and /w/ definitely have board culture and creative works, but it exists in a much more transient, thread-by-thread basis. /h/, /d/, and /aco/ are *just barely*, IMHO, on the other side of that coin.
*While not being entirely compatible, both boards seem to be expressed most universally, with many popular derivatives of 4chan catering to the demographics boards in particular, and their presence outside of 4chan, in a quality similar to /b/

In the former section, you could have a multitude of reasons for the lack of lampooning, but off the top of my head:
1. There is no invasion at all, since it is a niche which has a much smaller general appeal (/toy/, /out/), or has an appeal so universal it encapsulates everyone (/ck/, /an/)
2. Posts which are not entertaining to those browsing the board are ignored, and for escapists, IRL matters is something to be avoided. If they have their content, they don't care about people sliding and shilling, end of story.
3. Posts which are not practical to those browsing the board are ignored. Culture is not of their concern. /diy/, /po/, /diy/, and /out/ all have this attitude.
4. Mods and janitors enforce their own image of on-topic content, and in doing so shape the culture and posting style of the board. It happens to some extent on all blue boards.
