There was a massive problem stemming from 1999's repeal of Glass-Steagall, and Bush wanted to make sure that businesses couldn't hide their insolvency behind a woven web of jew debt.
Popping a bubble hurts. But letting it continue to grow can result in catastrophe. It had to be done, and I'm glad that both Bushes were the kind of people willing to commit career suicide to do what needed to be done.
All the Democrats do is ride on the long term effects of Republican presidency and the Democrats leave a mess for Republicans to fix.
