No sling/mount, no optic, etc yet.
You could easily shave a couple hundred off if you aren't picky about the barrel/twist/chamber of your upper. A lot of people over-spend on things like stocks, rails, sights, etc. You can save a lot of money buying more 'standard' equipment (PSA regularly sells FN CHF barreled uppers that are military standard, good and cheap), buying used (my sights were $25 each, new they are $150), etc.
No sense in paying an assload of money for things like a specific brand lower/upper/rail when you can pick up something cheap and just as effective. The awesome thing about ARs is that they're like legos so if you really feel bad later (don't) you can always upgrade (don't, because you could spend it on more guns)
